Canadian Folk Song with the lyrics "Take me home"?

I heard the song in a club in Ottawa, Canada. I asked somebody about the song and was told its a Canadian folk song. The only lyrics I can remember is "Take me home". Its a upbeat song that everyone was dancing to. It seemed like everyone in the club knew the song. I know its not the John Denver song.
