Denver John

This old John Denver song (For the musically inclined or have some background in music)?

Please help. I was wondering about this old song he did in D major and I can't remember the lyrics to save my life, nor do I know the actual title. I just know I loved this song. The only line I think I do remember from this song is at the end of one of the verses: "...lonely again..." It's in D major, and the chord arrangements are as follows: |G|A|B|G| |D|C#|B|A| |G|F#|E| (lower octave)|G| |A| |G|A|B|G| |D|C#|B|A| |G|F#|E|A| |D-D sus4| Play it on an instrument, (like a keyboard or piano or guitar), if that helps. :P Thanks.
