What is the name of this John Denver Song?

I'm not entirely sure but I think one of the lines in it says something like "You were always too beautiful for this life" Can't seem to find it online. A little help would be greatly appreciated. I heard it on the radio yesterday and I can't get the thought of it out of my head till I find it.
