Denver John

Is there some sort of marking of the beach in Pacific Grove near where John Denver's plane went down in 1997?

In Aspen they have a large memorial area for John Denver, but that was his home town. I know there is a beach in Pacific Grove, CA named the John Denver Beach, but I wondered if there is any memorial plaque or other items there.

1. there is a red buoy out to sea which marks the spot his plane crashed. you can see it easily frm the shore. apparently there is a plaque or something on the beach but we didnt stop.
