I'm picky but I can't find any modern music I enjoy?

What's up with todays music? I can't find any music I enjoy anymore, I only enjoy the older stuff. It's all the same old whine whine, long haired band, guitar solo crap. Does anyone make any good music anymore? Perhaps you can mention some names without that screamo guitar showoff crap. Artists I like: Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, The Beach Boys, Willie Nelson, John Denver etc... Thanks guys, it ticks me off what our music industry is shoving down people's throat.

2. ummm i disagree with you, but based upon what you like here are some suggestions. old crow medicine show, dierks bently, jack johnson, nickel creek, little big town, i dunno wut else, it seems like you only like very basic music which dosent really exist anymore. but if you like bob dylan you should love old crow medicine show
3. When looking for modern music that sounds like the classics that you have listed as your preference, try searching through folk groups. The only modern group I can think of right now that you might like is The Avett Brothers. They are folksy, almost bluegrass-like. I might be spelling their name wrong, but check em out.

6. try these 3 songs--steel belted radio by mike plume band. 29 nights by danni leigh. these 2 found on youtube. 105 by fred eaglesmith -yahoo music. i'm picky too and have over 100 songs on my youtube playlist.these 3 are at the top of my list.
